Application Guidelines:
The seventh edition of UPSTATE ART WEEKEND / UAW Festival will take place June 25 - 29, 2026
Events and exhibitions must take place during Thursday, June 25, Friday, June 26, Saturday, June 27, Sunday, June 28 and Monday, June 29, 2026. We highly encourage participants to be open for the entire duration of the event.
Events and exhibitions must be accessible to the general public, either free of charge, by reservations, or ticketed.
Exhibitions and events must take place in Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster or Westchester counties.
Participants are responsible for the execution of their exhibition/project/event.
Images that are submitted may be used for promotional purposes.
This application is for galleries, museums, creative spaces, projects, temporary exhibitions or events (including open studios of four or more artists), and non-profit organizations. *Individual artists are not eligible to apply to UAW Festival but can register for UAW Open Studios.

Note that application fees are non-refundable and if accepted, the application fee will be deducted from the participation fee.
We understand the participation fees can be a barrier to entry. If you wish to apply but need financial assistance to do so, please email us with a short explanation as to why it’s needed. We also encourage those who need financial assistance to include their participation fee in grant requests as part of their marketing budget. Due to the high volume of applications, the deadline for inquiries regarding financial assistance is February 18, 2026.
