Upstate Art Weekend (UAW): June 25 - 29, 2026. UAW’s flagship annual event brings together artists, organizations, and audiences across the Hudson Valley and Catskills, inviting exploration of exhibitions, programs, and cultural spaces throughout the region.

Application Guidelines

  • Deadline: 5:00 PM EST, February 25, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.

  • Event Dates: Exhibitions and events must take place on Thursday, June 25 through Monday, June 29, 2026. Participants are encouraged to be open for the full duration.

  • Accessibility: Events must be accessible to the general public, whether free, by reservation, or ticketed.

  • Location: Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, or Westchester counties.

  • Responsibility: Participants are responsible for the execution of their exhibition/project/event.

  • Promotional Use: Submitted images may be used for UAW promotional purposes.

  • Eligibility: This application is for galleries, museums, creative spaces, projects, temporary exhibitions or events (including open studios of four or more artists), and non-profit organizations. Individual artists are not eligible to apply but may register for Open Studios by UAW.

Application fees are non-refundable. If accepted, the fee will be applied toward the participation fee.

Need financial assistance? Email us by February 18, 2026, with a short explanation. We encourage including the participation fee in grant requests as part of your marketing budget.
